Help us learn more about the Flora and Fauna on site at Meadow Orchard by joining our project on iNaturalist.
Over the last year, our volunteers have helped us collect a whopping 229 observations and identified 130 species! Each submission helps us to map the Biodiversity across our site.
How to get involved
It’s easy to participate, just follow our three simple steps:
- Download the free iNaturalist app, available on both iOS and Android and create your own account. Don’t have a smart phone? Don’t worry, you can take part on your computer too!
- Search and join ‘Meadow Orchard Project‘ project on iNaturalist.
- Snap a wildflower or bug, beetle, insect, spider – you can do this directly through the app or by uploading your photos to the app afterwards.
Take a look below at some of our favourite wildflower observations from last year.
What’s next?
Your data will help feed back details about the BioDiversity on our site and help manage the mosaic of habitats at The Meadow Orchard Project.
By repeating the BioBlitz in years to come, we can compare the results and identify trends and patterns in the data.
