3.00 – 3.30pm A Question and Answers session – meet the puppeteers!

Bursting with colour, flavour, and wonder, this delightful 25-minute outdoor show invites families on a joyful journey through the world of cherries! Blending puppetry, physical theatre, music, and storytelling, the performance celebrates the cherry’s voyage across continents, the seasonal magic of local food, and the fleeting beauty of cherry orchards in full bloom. With playful characters, enchanting visuals, and a touch of whimsy, this family-friendly show is a sweet and sensory-rich tribute to nature’s most poetic fruit — reminding us to savour each moment, just like a perfectly ripe cherry.

Queens Wood – Meadow Orchard Singing Walk

4.30 – 5.30 Emily Hannah, our local singing leader, will be leading a May Day singing walk from the top of Queens Wood to the magical Meadow Orchard, where we will enjoy the second fireside sing of the year celebrating the beginning of summer, May Day falling halfway between the Spring Equinox and the Summer Solstice or Mid Summer.

We will spend the first 40 minutes nurturing our voices learning and singing a handful of beautiful 3 and 4 part songs about hope, light and spring, as we walk through the ancient Queens Wood stopping at specially chosen spots to sing.

Singing walk and fireside sing £15, Singing walk £10, Fireside sing £5. Concessions available.
